Earlier this year, R&B songstress Monica awoke from her musical shuteye and teased her fans with lyrics to “Never Be” and “Destination” off her forthcoming album.
Monica Teases New Music, Shares Lyrics
The “Still Standing” artist builds even more excitement for her new album by sharing a 15-second teaser of a new song called “Ocean of Tears” via Instagram. “This song title is everything,” wrote Monica.
While she declares the title is everything to her, the vocals are everything to us. The R&B veteran packs some powerful chops in the short and sweet clip.
The unfinished record could potentially be penned by singer-songwriter, Crystal Nicole who Mo cities in the post. Nicole has written a few songs for the singer including 2010’s “Love All Over Me” and “Amazing,” off her last studio effort.
Monica continues to work on her untitled seventh studio album, which will serve as the follow-up album to 2012’s “New Life.”
