Let the promotion begin! After Mariah Carey ushered in the month of May with new details surrounding her new album “Me. I Am Mariah…The Elusive Chanteuse,” she paid a visit to “The Late Show With David Letterman” on Wednesday night (May 6).

In her candid interview with David Letterman, Carey addresses her album delays and states that she wants fans to “experience this album as a body of work.” While her label and team continue to pressure her about the new single and which song to be put on iTunes, she says she wants to stray away from the norm as she’s “trying to something my own way.”
