Rising R&B singer Mishon premieres the visual to “Legal Tender” from his “The Gift” EP, which was released on Valentine’s Day.
The Doe Henderson directed video explores the journey of a girl’s life that eventually becomes troubled. She gives up on everything including love and family.
“I feel like this is what’s needed right now,” says Mishon. “I went through this situation with my ex so this song has always been special to me. After we separated she chose the fast life and lost who she was. I did this song a year ago and with the events taking place in Nigeria (#bringbackourgirls) and seeing some these young girls in U.S. choosing a fast life style; I decided to put a visual to the song. Hopefully, if at least one person sees this and it changes their life for the better, then I’ve done my job.”
