After much anticipation, Trey Songz’s sixth studio album, “Trigga,” was released yesterday (July 1). Although the hit singles “Na Na” and “SmartPhones” have been receiving much radio airplay, his new collaboration with Nicki Minaj is what the fans are raving about.
“Touchin, Lovin” is a definite summer hit showcasing Songz’s vocals and Minaj’s bars over a fun and catchy track produced by The Featherstones.
Songz and Minaj’s sex-fueled lyrics accompany the track to create one of the hottest collaborations of the summer. Songz and Minaj’s last collaboration, “Bottoms Up,” was a true success, peaking at No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Conversations about the collaboration started brewing after Minaj posted a photo of dozens of roses that were delivered to her studio as a gift from Songz. “I don’t want nobody else to impress Nicki Minaj; that’s why I sent her a couple thousand flowers,” said Songz at the 2014 BET Awards.
