This past Tuesday night Virginia bred singer Trey Songz visited the ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ late-night show for a performance plus an interesting translation of his hit “Na Na.”
We all know that sometimes the R&B slick crooner has a way with words that some may not understand or fully comprehend. Jimmy Kimmel comically clears this up as he translates the lyrics of “Na Na” in more lame and blunt terms in his “New Lyrics for Old People” part of the show. Kimmel analyzes the metaphorically driven lyrics and depicts it’s sexual storyline.
“Oh na na, look what you done started,” Songz begins. “It appears with ‘Na Na,’ things are headed in a sexual direction,” Kimmel preposterously decipher.

After the comical parody, Songz hit the “Jimmy Kimmel Live” stage and performed hit singles “Na Na” and “Foreign.” His performances were both filled with energy as he connected with his fans through the language of music. Songz was backed up by a full band along with bright purple and red lights. Watch the lively performances below.
