Syleena Johnson will release her sixth studio album, Chapter 6: Couples Therapy, later this fall. The R&B Divas: Atlanta star, who recently signed a deal with Blackbyrd Entertainment/eOne, has unleashed her new single “My Love.”
On the Pierre Medor-produced track, Johnson sings about bracing the storm of challenging times in a relationship. Though things get tough, she isn’t quick to bounce.
“I have more than enough reasons to say goodbye now / If I haven’t left you by now / Just know my love / Don’t quit when the road gets rough / Not giving up It’s clear to see, we’re meant to be / Thank God that we’re not afraid of love,” she sings.
Johnson recently caught up with Rated R&B and shared some details about her Couples Therapy.
“You’re going to see the ups and downs of a relationship — the real things that go on and take place,” Johnson said.
She continued, “I think Chapter 6: Couples Therapy is going to be relative to everyone because of the content that everyone can relate to in any kind of relationship they’re in,” she continued.
Couples Therapy is scheduled to hit stores October 14. Listen to “My Love” below.
