Despite all the drama behind the creation of the film, the Aaliyah biopic, executive produced by Wendy Williams, will premiere later this year.
According to Lifetime TV, the “Aaliyah Movie” will premiere on Saturday, November 15. Actress Alexandra Shipp was casted to portray the late singer after Zendaya backed out of the film.
