Anthony Hamilton is spreading holiday cheer. The soulful singer visited the Steve Harvey Morning Show this week to perform his festive single “Home for the Holidays,” which is the title track to his first-ever Christmas album.
In an interview with Rated RnB, Hamilton explained why he decided to record a holiday album. “I’ve heard them over the years and always thought they were kind of cool when an artist did that,” he said. “I felt like it was a great time.”

Home for the Holidays is available in stores now. It consists of six original tracks and Hamilton’s rendition of Christmas classics such as “This Christmas,” “Little Drummer Boy” and “Away in a Manger,” to name a few.
