Singer Michael Francis can see things “Clearer Now” on his new single.
On the mid-tempo record, Francis reflects on the romantic history between him and an old fling. Although he’s not trying to win her back, he just wonders why she had to cheat on him. “We use to be friends, use to be my homie / Why you had to do it to me,” he asks.
With a relatable message and radio friendly production, “Clearer Now” could have a home on urban radio formats in the future.
“Clearer Now” will appear on Francis’ forthcoming EP, SKYLINEDRIVE, due out this spring.
