Vivian Green has premiered a visual for her new single “Get Right Back To My Baby.” Directed by Derek Blanks, the video shows Green rehearsing her song ahead of her big performance at a night club. However, her rehearsal is interrupted after she receives a surprise phone call from her man who she meets up with later that day.
Green spoke to YouKnowIGotSoul about her experience working with Blanks on the video.
“Working with Derek Blanks was just amazing,” she said. “I am incredibly camera shy but he pushed me to try something different and leave my comfort zone. It is clearly my best video to date. I’m so excited to hear and see how people respond to it. It brings an already lively song to life! And of course it’s beautiful! That’s what Derek does.”
“Get Right Back To My Baby,” produced by Kwame, is the first single off Green’s forthcoming album, Vivid, due later this year.
