In the wake of recent events, Prince penned a heartfelt song for the city of Baltimore. The music icon recorded a tribute to all the citizens in Baltimore, according to Billboard.
Although many details haven’t been revealed, “it’s understood the track will address Freddie Gray’s death in Baltimore police custody, and the socio/political issues around the nation following a spate of killings of young black men,” Billboard reports.
The untitled track was recorded this week at Prince’s Paisley Park studio in Minneapolis. There is not a release date for the song as of yet.
