It’s about damn time. Monica has released the lead offering from her seventh studio album, Code Red.
Produced by Polow Da Don, “Just Right For Me,” featuring Lil’ Wayne, finds Monica expressing the way her man makes her feel despite her past heartbreaks.
Speaking on “Just Right For Me, Monica tells Rap-Up, “It’s a record about just being in love and there’s no perfect person, but there is a perfect person for you and that’s the way it is by design.”
In April, Monica appeared on Trendsetter Sense’s single “Do Me Like That,” with Yo Gotti and Jeezy.
Code Red is expected to arrive sometime this year.
