Tinashe continues the promotional campaign for her Aquarius album with the video release for “Cold Sweat.”
In the Stephen Garrett-directed clip, the Los Angeles native has a hard time controlling her body as she twists uncontrollably to the words of the song.
Tinashe will join Nicki Minaj’s PinkPrint Tour this summer along with Meek Mill, Rae Sremmurd and Dej Loaf. The RCA Records signee is also working on her sophomore album. “[With this album], I’d like to play with some more tempos, to not have it all be in the mid-tempo range even though a lot of my music is,” said Tinashe. “I’m definitely trying to make songs that are hooky enough to cross over.”
The “2 On” singer will also perform a tribute to Janet Jackson at the 2015 BET Awards this Sunday, along with Ciara and Jason Derulo.
