Kelly Rowland is the latest star to join FOX’s Empire cast. According to E!, a source confirmed at the 2015 ESSENCE Festival that the “Motivation” singer would be exercising her acting chops for in the second season of the hit series.
Alicia Keys, Lenny Kravitz To Guest Star On Season Two Of ‘Empire’
Her colleagues Alicia Keys and Lenny Kravitz will also appear on season two of Empire, which premieres on September 23.
Additionally, Rowland will bring her judging expertise to a new BET reality singing competition show called Chasing Destiny. The show is designed as a “multi-platform search” for aspiring hopefuls to get their chance at fame while being vocally critiqued by the former Destiny’s Child member.
