Kehlani has a few words for her naysayers. On her new track “Did I,” produced by Pop & Oak, the Bay Area native makes no apologies for her hard work ethic.
“Did I hurt your feelings when I hustle like that, hurt your feelings when I stunted like that?” she sings over the bass-driven track.
Kehlani has a lot to look forward to in 2016. Her mixtape You Should Be Here is nominated for a Best Urban Contemporary Album at the 2016 Grammy Awards and she is working on her debut album that’s due next year, too. She is also nominated for two of Rated R&B’s Best of R&B 2015 Awards (Best New Artist and Best Mixtape/EP).
