The self-proclaimed Love King teams with his protegé rapper Phil Ade to salute Black Girl Magic on his “Black Ice Cream (Remix).” The DMV natives add their own unique flavor to Raekwon’s 1995 classic “Ice Cream,” produced by RZA.
DeVaughn’s soulful vocals soar over the hip-hop beat while Ade adds a hot verse midway though the track.
The original version of “Black Ice Cream” is lifted off DeVaughn’s fifth studio album, Love, Sex, Passion, which was released in February 2015.
