Shaffer, formerly known as Jarvis, kicks off 2016 with his brand new single “Bout That Love.” Written by Kevin Ross and produced by Troy Taylor and Andre Jovan, the track is about giving your undivided love to your partner.
“Girl I need to know right now / I promise I got more in my heart to give out / Cause baby I’m about that love / If there’s anything you need to know right now / Ill tell each and every girl I know to clear out,” he croons.
Speaking on his new single, Shaffer told Rated R&B, “I connected with the record because it spoke to my life so profoundly. I felt like it was a story that needed to be told.”
We were first introduced to Shaffer back in 2004 with his debut single “Radio.” He’s also known for his Ludacris-assisted track “Pretty Girls,” released in 2008.
