Chrisette Michele is the latest to put her stamp on Yo Gotti’s infectious song “Down in the DM.” The Rich Hipster is telling all that it goes down on all social media networks saying, “It goes down in the Twitter feed, the comment section, the Facebook timeline, the YouTube comment, and the Snapchat feeds.”
Michele’s lyrical delivery is smooth as she sings, “Yeah you below my league/ I only rock with quality.” Towards the end, she refers to some of her favorite social media stars and fun fashion staples.
“Down in the DM” follows her remix of Tory Lanez’s “Say It,” and her acapella version of Adele’s “Hello.” Each will appear on her upcoming mixtape Steady Gang Mix, on Feb 27. Michele’s mixtape is something to hold fans over until spring as she gears up for the release of her sixth album Milestone.
