Frank Ocean’s fans have been impatiently waiting for him to drop his second album, Boys Don’t Cry, for over a year. Just days after teasing a release date for the album, Ocean has been announced as a new face for Calvin Klein’s fall ad campaign.
Shot by Tyrone Lebon, the global campaign spotlights an evolved cast of talent that encompasses actors, musicians, cultural icons, athletes, fashion idols, social media heavyweights, artists, and professional and street cast models – often paired together to create a dynamic and artful mix of visuals.
We can only hope Ocean’s participation in the Calvin Klein ad is part of his overall rollout plan for Boys Don’t Cry. We’ll see.
