Following “24/7,” Kehlani returns with a new single, “CRZY,” produced by Brittany “Chi” Coney.
On the positive track, the 21-year-old sings about how all the obstacles she’s faced in life have only made her a stronger person.
“Only L I take is to the face / You showed up to see me lose / But I overcome so you overcame / Basic, basic / Ain’t nothin’ bout me basic,” she sings in the second verse.
“CRZY” is certainly an empowering song that can be applied to anyone who has ever felt defeated. It only serves as motivation to keep pushing.
The Atlantic Records signee is working on her highly-anticipated debut album. Until then, fans can catch her on tour this summer at major festivals.
