Tinashe has unleashed a lyric video for her fresh single “Superlove.” The vibrant visual creates a summer vibe with images of a pool, sunglasses, ice cream and bottles of champagne.
“I’m tryna make you my baby daddy / Got me bouncing on it, I’m acrobatic / You got me riding on that, riding on that, grinding up in this b*tch / Banana all in that split, bet them girls can’t do you like this / So I heard you’re out here looking for me, and I wanna know if it’s true / If you’ve been looking for love, then I’ve been looking for you,” she sings.
“Superlove,” co-produced by The-Dream and Trickey Stewart, is lifted from Tinashe’s sophomore album, Joyride, which is expected to release later this year via RCA Records.
Speaking on her new single, Tinashe says, “I have felt a strong urge recently to release a song that promotes positivity, love, and light. ‘Superlove’ is a celebration of happiness. More specifically, it celebrates the kind of happiness that is so immense and infectious, that you can’t help but to rejoice in it. I hope to eulogize this wonderful energy and make people feel good, love harder, and dance together.”
