Can you believe it’s been 10 years since Cassie released her self-titled album? Well, the model/singer is ready to make her musical comeback. She recently revealed she just signed a deal with Epic Records and has a new single on the way titled “Makeup.”
“I just signed a deal with Epic [Records] and Bad Boy and I have a record called “Makeup” that I did with [producer] Detail,” she told Billboard in an interview on the red carpet of MTV’s Video Music Awards.
With the exception of Nicki Minaj’s 2012 hit “The Boyz” and her 2013 mixtape RockaByeBaby, Cassie has been relatively quiet with her music. Since she’s had time to live life and be away from the booth, it’ll be interesting to see the creative direction she takes her music.
