Abel “The Weeknd” Tesafaye has released a visual for his latest single “Party Monster,” lifted from his Starboy album.
Directed by BRTHR, the video begins with Abel driving his red vehicle through the desert, before going into a trance.
Throughout the grainy visual, religious imagery and women are shown. The infamous panther, featured in his previous visuals, also makes a cameo.
This is Abel’s first video since releasing his short film, Mania, late last year.
Released on Nov. 25, 2016, Starboy debuted at no. 1. In addition, all 18 tracks charted on the Billboard Hot 100 — an impressive feat!
