Ciara Announces Record Deal With Warner Brothers

New year, new label. After parting ways with Epic Records last year, Ciara announced on Friday that she is now signed to Warner Brothers Records. The singer, who is now pregnant with twins, revealed the news on her Instagram page.

She posted a picture of her posing in front of the WB logo with the caption, “Warner Brothers Records!!! Lets Get It! Proud to announce and honored to join the family! To all my Ladies out there…this is truly a time where we can do anything, be anything we want, & Love to the fullest while being loved in return.. there is No Limit! Dreams really do come true! I’m supercharged to make the World Dance again!”

During her stint at Epic Records, Ciara released two albums: Ciara (2013) and Jackie (2015). With her Future-penned single “Body Party” taking over radio airwaves, Ciara debuted at no. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 59,000 units sold in the first week. Meanwhile, Jackie spawned her platinum-selling single “I Bet.”

Here’s hoping the Warner Brothers executives will make Ciara a priority at the label, giving her all the resources needed to make a strong comeback.
