R&B duo THEY. has released their first-ever music video, “U-RITE.” The upbeat video, directed by Jack Begert, was filmed in Denver, CO and features lots of dancing — from THEY. and others.
“It was a really fun experience,” THEY. told i-D. “We went to all the major landmarks in Denver and brought about six to ten outfits to each stop. Colorado is such a diverse place and it gave us a lot of flexibility.”
“U-RITE” is the first single from THEY.’s debut album, Nü Religion: Hyena, out on Feb. 24 via Mind of a Genius / Warner Bros. Records. The 14-track LP will also include the three tracks from their acclaimed Nü Religion EP, as well as “Say When,” “Deep End” and ” “What You Want.”
To support their debut project, THEY. will embark on their 21-city headlining tour this spring. It kicks off on March 7 in Seattle, Wash. and will hit major cities in North America including Dallas, New Orleans, Washington, D.C., New York and Philadelphia, before wrapping up in Los Angeles on April 4.
