Elle Varner has released the official music video for her debut single, “Only Wanna Give It To You,” featuring Roc Nation’s J. Cole.
Orson Whales directed the vibrant and joyous video. In it, Elle Varner flaunts different colorful styles. She certainly looks like she had fun making it.
Speaking on collaborating with Varner, J. Cole told Vibe, “She has a super soulful voice and brings a new perspective on real-life issues with a fresh energy. The game needs Elle Varner right now and the lane is wide open for her.”
He continued, recalling the first time he heard the song, “My first thought was, ‘Wow, this is a smash, it was so clear. I was honored that they wanted me to be a part of it.”
“Only Wanna Give It To You,” produced by Pop & Oak, is the lead single off Varner’s upcoming debut album Perfectly Imperfect. The album will release on MBK Entertainment/J Records.
