As Janine prepares to release her debut album 99 next Friday (May 25), she shares a new track called “Hold On.”
On the bubbly track, the singer questions her lover’s commitment to stick around. She promises to do her part if they can keep their end of the deal. “Say whatcha you want, give me what you need / Baby it’s whatever for ya,” she sings in an airy register. “When I give it all, you should know I got more ya.”
“Hold On” is Janine’s second song released in 2018 behind “Too Late,” which received an accompanying video. Both records will appear on 99, which is set to arrive on May 25 via Atlantic Records.
