After teasing us with a possible continuation of “Addicted” from their debut album, Silk Canvas, VanJess unleashes a lush remix featuring rapper BAS.
Styled as the Keep Cool Remix, VanJess incorporate ’90s R&B flavor as they express how connected they are to their lover. “Baby, I’m addicted to every single thing you do / It’s so crazy, how you changed me,” the sister duo sings on the chorus.
In addition to the remix, VanJess took a page from Kaytranada’s NOTHIN LIKE U / CHANCES handbook and released an EP of alternative versions. The project includes the original recording, a KRS dancehall edit and instrumentals for the updated tracks.
