Following the tragic mass shooting in El Paso, Texas on Saturday, Khalid has announced his plans to host a benefit concert for the families of the victims.
The 21-year-old singer, who was raised in El Paso, revealed the news on Twitter on Monday morning.
“Over the past few days, I’ve been thinking of ways to help out and support the city,” he tweeted. “I’m planning for a benefit concert later this month, all of the proceeds will go to the families affected by the shooting. Sending everyone my love and will keep you guys updated.”

Twenty-two people were killed and more than two dozen people were wounded in the domestic terrorist attack, which took place at a Walmart.
