Ashanti is dabbling in the fashion world but music is still on her radar. The singer has collaborated with Afrobeats artist Afro B for her new song titled “Pretty Little Thing.”
She recently launched a swimsuit collection with the online clothing company by the same name and created the song as part of the campaign.
Picking up on the tropical theme of the collection, “Pretty Little Thing” is a bright afro-pop and dancehall fused track that provides the ultimate summertime vibe.
The new song is not a sound we’re used to hearing from Ashanti but the switch-up is pleasantly received. We can continue to look forward to a “soul-touching R&B” project from her coming soon.
