Emerging singer Malia has shared the video for her sultry track “Play Sides,” in collaboration with TIDAL’s Soulection series.
Directed by Eno, the romantic visual captures two lovers enjoying each other’s company. In between scenes, Malia is seen performing the song with a small band.
“The song is about having a companion you feel understands you and the women in the video are riding that wave together,” Malia tells Rated R&B. “It’s two people getting lost in moments with each other, soundtracked by myself and the band.”
The video is also featured on TIDAL’s Rising R&B video playlist. It joins visuals from other artists including Nicole Bus, Baby Rose, Cautious Clay and Aneglica Vila, to name a few.
