An emerging voice in R&B, Brandon Banks is giving fans a taste of what he has to offer on his new EP Static.
The six-track project features appearances from fellow newcomers UMI and Mereba and introduces Banks’ mellow sounds to a brand-new audience.
On “Mirrors,” the California native croons lyrics of self-reflection. “Mirror, mirror on the wall / who the fairest of them all? / I don’t like what I see / Don’t you antagonize me,” Banks sings on the song’s chorus.
“Man getting this music out has been a serious journey, I almost gave up on it halfway through,” Banks posted on his Instagram shortly after the EP’s release. “Thank you to everyone who’s helped me get stuff done along the way, I love you endlessly,”
Static also features Banks’ single “Pico” which he released back in 2019.
