Rayana Jay wants to take her time on her new song “It’s You.”
Produced by Gabriel Lambirth (Ro James, Bridget Kelly), Jay lists all the possibilities of what could be on the soft and breezy track.
Even though she’s uncertain on how life will go, Jay knows exactly who she wants to share it with. She endearingly sings on the first verse, “I said what you tryna do / He told me it’s all up to you / Well if you leave it up to me / We’ll be sitting here ’til 2053 / See you know I can’t make my mind up / And only god knows where I’ll wind up / Not sure where I’ll be / But I know that you’ll be there with me.”
“It’s You” is Jay’s first song release since her 2019 EP, Love Me Like.
