Kelly Rowland hasn’t taken a “Coffee” break from her new single. The superstar has partnered with Genius for their Open Mic series and delivered the first brew of the roasting track in a special at-home performance.
With her hair pulled back and dressed in a denim shirt, Rowland is seen in good spirits as she gets lost in the vibes of wake-up jam.
“Coffee” is the comeback single from Rowland’s highly anticipated fifth album. The Kosine-produced tune has garnered more than 4.6 million streams on Spotify. Meanwhile, the music video has more than 5 million views.
“To me, COFFEE is about embracing your individuality, sexuality, or imperfections,” Rowland says about the single. “Not comparing yourself to others. We need to celebrate ourselves more often — with this song, I want you to have yourself in mind. I want to remind women all over to reignite their magic!”
In 2019, Rowland released a three-track EP titled The Kelly Rowland Edition.
