Bilal brings humor in his music video for “Back to Love,” directed by Brian Lavar. The song is the first single from the soul crooner’s upcoming album, A Love Surreal, due Feb. 12.
Speaking on the concept of the video, Bilal revealed, “Actually, my wife came up with the concept, and the we took it to another level. It started out as me being a love doctor, but [now the character is a love doctor that sells] legal marijuana.”
Last month, Bilal released a mixtape called The Retrospection, which included his rendition of Stevie Wonder’s classic song “Too High.”
