The-Dream reunites with Fabolous for his new single “Slow it Down,” off his upcoming album Fourplay, scheduled to release May 7. On the mid-tempo track, The-Dream tells the DJ to play a slow jam so he and his woman can really dance together.
After listening to the song, it seems like The-Dream is standing up for all R&B artists who are overlooked by radio and DJ’s because of the new trend of dance-pop music. “DJ you know you wrong/Enough with those mother f*cking dance songs/DJ you gotta slow it down,” The-Dream sings. “I’m just trying to dance with my baby,” he continues.
