Sammie pours his heart in his new song “Merlot.” On the emotional track, Sammie sings about realizing how much heartache he’s caused a lover and doing everything to fix it.
“I wrote this record based off a true story,” Sammie reveals. “Sometimes it takes a little liquid courage to express the thoughts in which we men suppress during our sober state. So after peeking my limit, I decided to profess my true love for my love interest at the time. ‘Merlot’ derives from that night.”
