H-Town is more than willing to keep grown and sexy R&B alive. Following a notable absence from the music scene, the seasoned group is back on the prowl and has released their new EP, Date Night.
The eight songs are gentle reminders of H-Town’s impeccable serenading skills. In the song “Lay U Down,” the group pays tribute to R&B gents like 112 and Ginuwine as they direct their ladies to their silk sheets.
In “In 2 U,” the duo shoots their shot with their respective female friends that they’re ready to move out of the friend zone and make a permanent situation.
Meanwhile, “Internet Love,” the closing track, describes a relationship developed between two new lovers courtesy of social media apps.
Guests include Kut Klose, Shai, and Lil’ Flip, who appears on the remix to H-Town’s 2015 track “Green Light 713.” The latter song was released as the lead offering from Date Night.
H-Town has promised to release a music video soon for the “Super Love,” the opening track.
