After a four year hiatus, LeToya Luckett is back with new music. The original Destiny’s Child member has released her new song called “Don’t Make Me Wait” to hold fans over until she releases an official single.
“I’m excited to release my first single from my forthcoming album in a little bit, and until then, I wanted to give fans a taste of what I’ve been working on,” said Luckett via Instagram.
On the two-minute track, which premiered on Monday night (Feb. 10) on VH1’s television series “Single Ladies,” Luckett tells the world about how she approaches dating in “Don’t Make Me Wait.”
In an interview with ABC News Radio, the Houston singer revealed, ”I’m a shy girl. Like, I would never have the guts to go and approach a guy. I’m a weirdo. So if you clearly see that I’m feeling you, even though I’m not walking over there, but my body language and my eyes [are] saying so, then you need to come on with it.”
Luckett is working on her third studio album titled “Until Then.” The album serves as the follow-up to her 2009 effort, “Lady Love.”
Aside from singing, Luckett has also been focusing on her acting career. The “Not Anymore” singer has a recurring role on”Single Ladies” as music executive Felicia Price.
