Tinashe has officially entered a new era with “Too Easy,” her first single in nearly two years.
She enlisted producers Kimj and Zack Sekoff to create an electronic dance track that bounces and rolls as seamlessly as she navigates fame. “I feel like a celebrity / If you’re mad, then go to therapy / But I can’t, I can’t help that I / Make it look so easy,” she sings.
While the song runs shy of two minutes, it’s enough to enjoy while building even more anticipation for her next phase in music. After all, it sort of plays into the song’s title — an easy, breezy listen.
At this year’s Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, Tinashe previewed “Too Easy” during her DJ set at the Do LaB.

“Too Easy” is Tinashe’s first solo offering since releasing her 2024 album, Quantum Baby, the sequel to her trilogy that began with BB/ANG3L (2023). The former project included her viral hit “Nasty” and the fan-favorite “No Broke Boys.”
In 2025, Tinashe joined forces with DJ/producer Disco Lines for a new version of “No Broke Boys,” which has garnered 760 million Spotify streams. The remix also hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart and won Dance Song of the Year at the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
