Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Eric Bellinger has signed a deal with Lyor Cohen’s 300 Entertainment, Billboard reports.
With his new deal, 300 Entertainment — distributed by Warner Music Group — will be in charge of releasing, marketing and promoting Bellinger’s debut album “The Rebirth.”
Last month, Bellinger released “The Rebirth” digitally via his independent label Your Favorite Song (YFS). Although the album generated some buzz, 300 Entertainment will continue to push the project on a larger scale.
“300 will be the umbrella; they have so many resources that we can plug into,” Bellinger told Billboard. “Lyor told us, ‘We really like ‘I Don’t Want Her’ — you just need help pushing it. That’s where I come in.’ Nieman and I are still going to push YFS, signing artists as well as other writer/producers.”
Fans can expect Bellinger to release a visual for his Kid Ink assisted song “Kiss Goodnite” in April. He will also release his next single “Liquid Courage,” which features Victoria Monet.
Congratulations to Eric Bellinger, we wish him the best with his future endeavors.
