Schools usually send students home with boxes of chocolate goodies to sell in hopes of meeting their fundraising goal. Usually, parents just take it to work and sell it to co-workers but when your mom is Beyoncé she performs.
Beyoncé performed at the 75th Anniversary Gala for The Center For Early Education in West Hollywood, where her daughter Blu Ivy attends. The private elementary schools goal was to raise money for financial aid at the school. The celebration paid tribute to teacher and administrator Riveta Bowers, who is retiring after 44 years of educating children.
“I’m here to celebrate Reveta. Thank you so much for all you’ve done for so many people,” Beyoncé said.
The “Formation” singer performed fan favorites “Crazy in Love,” “XO,” and her rendition of Whitney Houston’s iconic “I Will Always Love You.”
Beyoncé is currently gearing up for her Formation World Tour ,which kicks off April 27 in Miami, Florida at Marlins Park.
