Tinashe decided to drop her new single “Superlove” a little bit ahead of schedule.
“Superlove” is super nostalgic track produced by The-Dream and Tricky Stewart, which they crafted into an uptempo ode to ’90s dance tracks. The singer even gives a nod to Uncle Luke!
“They will never touch you like I touch you / Baby say you’ll promise you’ll never change,” she sings.
Speaking on her new single, Tinashe says, “I have felt a strong urge recently to release a song that promotes positivity, love, and light. ‘Superlove’ is a celebration of happiness. More specifically, it celebrates the kind of happiness that is so immense and infectious, that you can’t help but to rejoice in it. I hope to eulogize this wonderful energy and make people feel good, love harder, and dance together.”
Since September, Tinashe has been gearing up for her sophomore album, dubbed Joyride, dropping a string of singles like “Ride Of Your Life” and the Chris Brown-assisted track “Player.”
