Stream John Michael’s ‘INTRA’ Mixtape

Indie R&B artist John Michael has released his brand new mixtape titled INTRA. Then 10-track project (short for Intraverbal Music Theory) includes the lead single “Iss Okay.”

Michael describes INTRA as “good music that is both current and still has a feel for the much loved 90s style of R&B.”

One of the standouts on the mixtape is “I Choose Me,” which he wrote as a reminder to always put himself first. “I sometimes forget to do [that],” Michael said in a press release. “I’m a giving person. My kindness often times can be my weakness.  Over the years I’ve learned to stick up for myself and I think a lot of people can relate to what I’m saying in this song.”

In other news, “Wrap You Up,” track eight, will be featured on the second season of HBO’s hit series Insecure.
