Singer-songwriter Jhene Aiko has found a new home at Def Jam. The 23-year-old California native recently announced her new record deal with NO I.D. via Def Jam Recordings, via her Twitter account.
This will be Aiko’s second major record deal of her music career. She was previously signed to Chris Stokes’ T.U.G. Entertainment when she was 13. However, after many album delays and Aiko’s aspiration to finish school, she soon was released from the label.
In other news, Aiko will be releasing her second project entitled “Souled Out” in the coming months. Until then, check out the lead single to the upcoming album called “In Love We Trust.”
