Team Breezy will have to wait a couple more months before they hear Chris Brown’s new album “Fortune.” The R&B-pop sensation announced that he has pushed back the release date from May 8 to July 3.
Brown took it to Twitter to share the unfortunate news. “Team Breezy! The official album date for FORTUNE is July 3,2012,” Brown tweeted.
It’s no surprise that Brown has decided to push back his album. Brown needs an extra push to ensure he debuts at the top. This could be why he will perform on the “Today” show on June 8, as part of their Summer Concert Series. It will be interesting to see if Brown will be interviewed on the show. Earlier this year, he announced that the will not do any interviews this year. So far he has stuck by his word.
In the meantime, Chris Brown is working with Tyga on their “Fan Of A Fan 2” mixtape, the follow-up to their 2010 collaborative mixtape.
