After taking a break from Day26 and hiring Hulk Entertainment as new management, Brian Angel is focused on his solo career.
Last month, we interviewed Angel about his new music. He revealed that he was in the studio recording and was not sure what type of project he would be putting out. “I don’t know whether or not it’s going to be a mixtape, whether it’s going to be an album, or an EP,” Angel said. ” I’m just recording. Whatever path the good lord takes me on, that’s the path I’m going to go.”
It looks like the R&B crooner found the right path. He recently announced the title of his forthcoming EP, “Daybreak,” which is set to release on October 26 via his own label Ambassador Way Entertainment.
The EP will include lead single “Killa,” which features Dallas rapper Dorrough. “ ‘Killa’ is a dope song,” Angel commented. “It’s just basically talking about how gorgeous a woman is to you…I want to start a whole new trend by saying ‘she’s a killa.’ ”
