It’s no secret that the promotion for Ciara’s upcoming project, “One Woman Army,” has been a little lackluster. Earlier this summer, she released her buzz single “Sweat,” and everything went downhill. Now, Ciara and Epic Records are reassuring fans that things are okay.
Yesterday, Epic Records announced a new release date for “Sorry,” the lead single from “One Woman Army.” The song, originally scheduled to release on August 20, will now release on September 13. The music video will premiere on BET’s 106 & Park on the same day. According to Epic Records, the “Sorry” video reflects Ciara’s evolution as an artist and showcases a surprisingly gentle Ciara.
In addition, it was revealed that Ciara is prepping another single titled “Got Me Good,” scheduled to release on October 8. A music video for the forthcoming single will be available the same day it releases.
“One Woman Army,” which was slated to release around Thanksgiving, will now be released on December 4.
