A few R&B stars were in the UK this week for BBC Radio’s 1Xtra Live concert series. Trey Songz helped kicked off the week-long concert on Monday, at the 02 Academy Brixton. Other R&B stars who performed this week were Alicia Keys and Miguel. The two singers used the concert to promote their new albums.
Alicia Key, who also performed in 2009, took the stage at The Ballroom in Birmingham. Her setlist included her blazing single, “Girl on Fire,” the title track to her fifth studio album, due Nov. 27.
R&B crooner Miguel also graced the stage at The Ballroom. During his set, her performed his number one single, “Adorn,” from his Kaleidoscope Dream album, in stores now.
