Last night, Alicia Keys appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” –which was filmed at the Brooklyn Academy of Music — to promote her new single “Girl on Fire,” the title track to her forthcoming album. Keys was originally scheduled to appear on the show Monday night. However, due to the affects of Hurricane Sandy, the show was canceled on Monday. During her interview, Keys talked about her Hurricane Sandy experience and her son’s first Halloween.
Keys also graced the stage to perform “Girl on Fire.” Despite a few pitch errors, Keys’ delivered an exceptional performance. She certainly showed improvement since her debut performance at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards.
